National Environmental Convention
The Academies are spaces for active participation specifically designed for young people. Through training in public management and leadership, they aim to promote behavioral change among Colombian youth, encouraging them to take on roles of power in decision-making spaces such as Local Action Boards, Municipal Assemblies, Governor’s Offices, Mayor’s Offices, Congress, and more.
They are also encouraged to participate in influential spaces like civil society organizations, youth platforms, and Community Action Boards—platforms from which they can have a direct impact on territorial environmental policymaking.
